    Interactive public information at five locations across the city
    Rodgau is a town in the district of Offenbach with a population of around 45,000. smartPerform is equipping the town with digital outdoor display screens that provide residents with relevant information in a centralised manner.

    The background

    Rodgau initially operated four outdoor display screens within the town, which did not function reliably. In collaboration with its partner, Grunwald Display Solutions, these four screens were modernised, and a fifth screen was added as part of this process. Two further locations are planned for the future.

    With the move to the modern new building on Pariser Platz in Stuttgart, the presentation and seminar technology is also to be modernized in a forward-looking way.

    Local transport

    The display boards show the departure times for the nearest public transport stop in real time. This means that members of the public can see the most important connections at a glance, without having to open a separate app.

    An interactive map guides you to the main points of interest in the city. This helps both residents and visitors find their way around quickly.

    City life

    A dedicated display area provides information on weekly markets, current job vacancies and the town’s history. In this way, the information pillar brings together, at a glance, everything that is relevant to life in Rodgau.
