Review: 15 years of smartPerform – an evening full of inspiration, encounters, and energy for the future

On November 13, the time had come: Together with partners, customers, and colleagues, we celebrated smartPerform’s 15th anniversary—a special moment for our team and a milestone that we could not have achieved without our community.

Right from the relaxed arrival and champagne reception at 3 p.m., the Expert Plaza Showroom in Dreieich was filled with curious glances, lively conversations, and a palpable sense of anticipation for what was to come.

Official welcome & interview with the founder

To kick things off, our managing directors, Ralph Westenburger and Marc Armbruster, welcomed all guests and looked back on 15 years full of innovations, bold decisions, and great partnerships.

A special highlight followed immediately afterwards:
the interview with our smartPerform co-founders Werner König and Jens Gerken, moderated by Ralph.
Together, they talked about:

• the initial ideas and challenges,
• the courage to break new ground,
• valuable experience gained from 15 years of product development,
• and where smartPerform is headed in the future.

A quiz that brings people together

“Who knows that?” – the smartPerform Edition

With plenty of humor and team spirit, Marc Armbruster hosted our own anniversary quiz based on the well-known TV show.

Team Single Focus competed against Team Multi Focus, answering questions about smartPerform, anecdotes from our company history, and tricky fun facts.

For every correct answer, smartPerform donated €50 to charity.
It was a fun part of the program that put everyone in a good mood and provided some surprising insights.

Impulses & Partnership

Felix Bumiller wowed the crowd at Dachser SE with an inspiring keynote speech on digital experiences and modern brand communication. You can read about how the company smartPerform is being used in an innovative and forward-looking way at Germany’s largest logistics and transport trade fair in the reference report.

Sören Jacobshagen from Monumedia gave another keynote speech on the topic of “Digital transformation initiatives – on the hunt.” With the term “phygital,” which he coined, he describes the development from purely analog exhibitions to a combination of physical objects and digital content, particularly in exhibitions and museums.

We then honored our Premium Interactive Partners—companies that have been growing with us for years, breaking new ground, and bringing smartPerform into a variety of exciting projects.

Three “lucky numbers” were drawn live via smartPerform. The winners were delighted to receive small but thoughtful surprises.

At the end of the official part of the event, Marc Armbruster gave an outlook on the future.
New features, product ideas, and developments were presented that will shape smartPerform in the coming years.

An evening full of conversations, encounters, and good vibes

The day ended with a cozy dinner of chili con and sin carne. Many guests took the opportunity to exchange ideas, deepen contacts, and discuss joint projects.
