Digital Touch Table for Presentations
“In our new showroom, we want to show our customers the areas in which we can support them everywhere,” explains Dipl.-Ing. Christian Ernst, MBA, Assistant to the Executive Board and responsible for implementing the PKE world of experience.
A central screen in touch table design with a smartPerform user application is used to present all common PKE services. For this purpose, the available media formats such as different file types, websites, application programs, live sources or streams are made intuitively experienceable.
Networked Screens Create Space for Teamwork
Thanks to the integrated media shelf management, the smartPerform user application combines the touch table display with three other screens (passive / interactive) to form a single innovative presentation landscape. Already at the beginning of presentations or events, automated scenarios for greetings, the agenda or event notes are provided via a centrally maintained playlist using presets.
Tools for the Promotion of Creativity
Even in the presentation or analysis context, different discussion content can be swapped out to the screens, parked in playlists or edited by workgroups. smartPerform whiteboard functions allow all media formats to be edited directly on the screens. Alternatively, the various media formats can also be opened in the respective original program, e.g. PowerPoint or Excel, and edited there.
Content and Meeting Management Ensure Efficient Processes
Access and control of outsourced content is enabled by the smartPerform Media-Shelf-Remote function from the touch table or directly via smartPerform user interfaces of the interactive screens. The distribution and consolidation of all presentation results, including the optional creation of a PDF hand-out, can be handled by smartPerform Meeting Management with its integrated protocol function, if required. The room control functions of the showroom are also accessible via the smartPerform user application.

“We have already built a great many multimedia rooms for our customers, but we have never installed this density of technology anywhere,” Christian Ernst is pleased to say.
