    For 125 years, Schwartauer Werke GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bad Schwartau in Schleswig-Holstein, has been producing fruit products and snacks for food retailers and the food service industry. The portfolio includes jams, sweet and savory spreads, dessert sauces, syrups and muesli bars. The company is the market leader in Germany in both the jam and muesli bar segments. With smartPerform, internal communication for non-desk employees in production is now also to be digitalized.

    Analog bulletin boards quickly become outdated and create a high administrative burden. smartPerform offers Schwartauer Werke a digital solution that can be used across all locations and can be edited independently by the company. The communications department can now easily exchange and update new content on the digital notice board in real time using drag & drop in a drive structure.

    Quick and Easy Communication

    With the help of Smartperform technology, various interfaces can be created on the boards on which employees can receive information in real time. This channel is a major step towards digitalization, especially for the production workforce, as it is difficult to ensure that they can be reached via the intranet during their working day.
    When designing the boards, Smartperform provides advice and support in all project phases to ensure that the requirements can be implemented flawlessly, from the design to the technical details. Vizacon was responsible for setting up and installing the media technology on site.

    Digital Boards in Practice

    Schwartauer Werke now has twelve boards at various locations throughout the company. They function either as a passive screen on which texts and images on current topics are played as a slideshow or as active displays on which employees can use the touch function to call up further information on topics such as interesting facts, news from the HR department or current projects. The boards are used regularly and frequently and are updated several times a day by Corporate Communications.
