Euler Hermes is the world’s leading credit insurer. The German branch with 1,100 employees is based in Hamburg. In the new building, the company has implemented an open-space concept with bright, open working environments. In total, the employees have more than 1,200 square meters of creative and project work space as well as lounge areas in addition to their workstations at their disposal.

Digital Transformation

The new premises focus on communication and networked work across departmental boundaries. The completely wireless infrastructure enables mobile working in the entire building, including the cafeteria, restaurant or terrace areas. The company is thus driving the digital transformation even further.

Im Eingangsbereich lädt eine Sitzecke zum Verweilen ein. Ein beeindruckender Großbildschirm in Form einer interaktiven Multi-Touch Powerwall inszeniert dort die Marke Schuler und deren Produkte.

70 Conference Rooms on 6 Floors

Depending on the size of the rooms, 55″ or 75″ touch screens and a video conferencing system are used. The smartPerform Collaboration App integrates voice, video camera images, content from employee laptops and other media data for real-time collaboration in one intuitive application. Meeting sessions can be started, managed and ended at the push of a button. The app connects employees in the room, in the home office or locations with just one keystroke. Users can find proven and new ways of working, integrate all media formats and use collaboration tools with only one uniform user interface and guided processes.

Networked Work

The basis for networked working in the building and at different locations is the internal collaboration network. In addition to the media technology equipment, the network was set up and integrated completely by our partner Amptown System Company GmbH. In addition to the conference technology, Amptown installed digital signage pillars for employee and customer information and 80 digital door signs in the building. The door signs use light signals to indicate the status of the individual meeting rooms, which can also be released or booked on site using these signs if required. The media technology planning for the entire project was realized by AMT Ingenieursgesellschaft, Isernhagen.
